H and B have 3 awesome cousins and would be in heaven if we all lived within shouting distance of each other. They cooled off with Mia and Alli and a couple brave adults in the chilly pool. Above is Mia and Grandma hanging out on the back porch.

The next weekend we drove south to celebrate Liam's 4th birthday a week early since we couldn't make his party. Lucky for us we arrived in time for the annual Kite festival and watched the 3 of them make their own and then fly them as well. Of course it was windy in Grinnell, isn't it always?
I didn't believe Henry when he told me that he put cherries in one of Liam's birthday cards that he made for him.
The older they get, the harder it is to say good bye. Happy Birthday Liam!
