I'm sure you have all heard me complain about our walnut trees and all that they bring to our yard, driveway, gutters and deck. Well, Bryn and Henry are trying to make the most of the twisted branches( that fall all year round), the walnuts the size of your fist ( that stain everything and everyone they touch) and the leaves that always fall a month earlier than any other tree! As I was trying to clear the driveway of the mess, Bryn and Henry had some fun of their own. After I dumped their kiddy pool of water towards the baby oak tree (grow baby grow) they decided to start a walnut delivary business. They piled up walnuts into their wagon and threw them one by one into the standing water, which then looked inviting enough for each of their feet.

Ugh.. is that what those are... we have a walnut tree in our yard too.. I find them propped up on things.. the squirrels must set them up high to dry out! Fun fun for the kiddos!
