Every year Thoreau elementary hosts a whole school 1 mile run! They start behind school and run a mile loop through the neighborhood, luckily running down Nakoma (after some pretty steep hills!) and into the finish shoot. Each class runs together accompanied by parents and teachers. The cutest was watching the faces of the kids as they rounded the corner and saw the path lined with students waiting to slap their hands! Thanks to my mom friends who remembered their cameras and took some cute pics for me. Ready , set, RUN!
Bryn was so ready to race and specifically wore her Bellin run t-shirt!
